Today is the launch of ‘Tweak of the week’, weekly Teaching and Learning Tips that I shall be sharing via email every Wednesday. If you have any ‘quick tips’ you would like to share with your colleagues via ‘TOTW’ then please email them to me.

Teaching Tip: To promote independent learning
Train your students to follow the “Three Before Me” rule.
If they are stuck, encourage them to use their BRAINS first.
(Or a partners Brain?)
If this does not work, consult their BOOK.
If this does not work, ask a BUDDY.
And finally, if all else fails ask the BOSS – the teacher or other adult!
