A little toolkit to help make progress explicit..
Progress mat, put these back to back and laminate..
Evaluation tree– I have several versions of this (trees, thermometers, ladders and even the Burj Khalifa) basically anything you can climb! The basic idea..students place a post-it note on the tree according to their confidence level against the success criteria. Encourage them to independently move themselves up as the lesson progresses.
Reflection mat– Reviewing progress against the lesson objectives
